How to get there:
- Head east on Hwy 26. I recommend stopping at the Ranger Station on the right if anyone needs a bathroom. They also have copies of trails that you can take with you for free. You can also purchase a NW Forest Pass here. The Ranger Station is just past the left-hand turn you need to take onto Lolo Pass. You head down this road, passing under power lines, enjoying the views of Mt. Hood as you go. After traveling about 12 miles, the road makes a turn to the right and there is a small area to park here. The hike is labeled as the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT).
- Elevation: ~1,000 ft
- Distance: ~ 6 miles RT
